ERICA I 47 & achieving her dreams.

Next in the spotlight is 47 years old, ERICA.

At 47 Erica continues to achieve her dreams. She is a mother of 2 girls, a wife, a caretaker, and a business owner.

People that know her describe her as a person of integrity, humble, and a friend. She has checked white water rafting off of her bucket list and continues to work on completing the rest of her list. Her values have changed over time and now she values rest and patience.

Erica has a background in behavioral health and recently obtained her Ph.D. in Psychology. Congratulations, Doctor Jones!

Life brings changes and one of those changes in her life led her to become her own boss. She started being a caregiver for her grandparents. Soon after this, she realized the need for in-home care and that’s how she founded Silver Care LLC.

She knows that she is a leader and what she does now can have an effect on many people that she leads.

A myth she’d like to bust is that being 40 is not old and outdated. The piece of advice she would give her 20-year old self would be to stay focus, balance work, and have fun.

When I asked what were her dreams and ambitions for the future she said she’d like to “provide business for the generations behind her and to impact the community with dementia awareness.” She is also starting a non-profit organization called Silver Care Dementia Center (SCDC), an adult night program for individuals living with dementia.
