ELIZABETH I 42 - Feeling comfortable to express myself.

I have Elizabeth in the spotlight today. I have gotten to know Elizabeth on a personal level and I’m so glad that she decided to have this photo session experience with me. Here’s a little bit about her story.

“My name is Elizabeth, I’m 42 years old, I’m a wife, a mother of two beautiful girls, a sister, and I’m very passionate about life, I love learning from others and what others have experienced. I come from a big family, my family brings me joy.”

“I’m a military spouse, I appreciate the challenges in being a wife, I feel it molds me year after year in becoming the wife God is calling me to be. I am very passionate when it comes to growing in my walk with Christ, I enjoy all things health and fitness. I am close to my family, I have the most amazing parents who have sacrificed so much of themselves, they have encouraged me to be driven in life.”

“Life has hardships. I used to view myself differently and how I handled stress, anxiety, and depression in the past was with methods such as eating, and binging, or bulimia as a way to cope and distract myself. After healing from all that I learned that I am valued and loved, not because the answer lied within people, but because I am valued and loved by God. The hardships come with quite a challenge but I believe it is because of these challenges that my faith has grown and I have been able to rely more on God than I have in the past.”

“One thing I checked off my bucket list was to participate in a bodybuilding competition.”

“My family and friends describe me as caring, thoughtful, relentless, passionate, loving, and fearless.

I love to meet people whose lives I can impact. In the future, I’d love to have a business or a ministry where I can reach out to others.”

“A myth I would like to bust about being over 40 is that you have to settle down, no more dancing, and you have to dress “your age”. I feel that dancing has just begun, and what a time to dress as you want.”

“The advice I’d like to give to younger women is “Don't be embarrassed or afraid of your ideas and dreams.”

I wanted to have this photo session to give me an opportunity to feel comfortable in expressing myself no matter what.”
